ZEST CLOTHING
Combining fashion interest, with music, and with fashion again...
~ Here is Zest Clothing

"The name ‘Zest’ resulted from wanting to be different and called for a lot of thought. First of all, I did not want to be like any other high street clothing line or brand. So drawing on the outer layer of an orange, lemon or lime as a theme, I likened the idea of a flavour and kick to that of the human outer layer."
Designing as I see it is a matter of putting out my personal view of objects, stories, nature in the hope that people will interact with my ideas and enjoy these. This is where Zest Clothing is today, hence, why it stands out from what other people do.
~ Junior Ngoma owner and designer of Zest Clothing

I've been aware of the line, Zest Clothing for a while now, but I had not properly looked into the brand until recently. Initially being a fashion photographer I'm always interested in what people are wearing and their diverse styles. From brands and designs to colours and ways of wearing. During Dubstep gigs, and whilst photographing the Djs, I find myself interested in the different designs and T-shirts the Djs are sporting during their sets.
I've seen graphic T-shirts and designs from other labels but nothing has caught my eye, kicked off or had such a huge response as Zest has. The UK based line is sponsored and favoured by many Djs from Tomba, Funtcase, Alex Maden, and SKisM this year just to name a few.
The limited edition Funtcase T-shirt definitely kicked up a fuss, I know various people including my boyfriend who was gutted he didn't manage to get one! With Zest gaining popularity as I type here, we can only imagine what they get up to this year. Make sure you keep tuned to see what I get up to with Zest photography-wise, future designs, and who is wearing Zest next!
