Friday 8th April, I arrived at The Rainbow Warehouse at 5pm after a previous fashion shoot that day in the lovely hot English sun! The place was empty apart from the owner and a couple others, so I waited around for the organisers of
'Hype Birmingham' (the best dubstep event set up by three great guys!)

When they arrived we spoke for a while about all sorts, I was pleasantly surprised at how down to earth and easy they were to talk to. Really just doing what they love, because they love the music! It was very interesting to hear what they had to say about their plans are for this year. As the minutes passed, the venue began to look more like it did the last time I was there... the amazing night that was Hype's launch party with Datsik, Bare Noize and Bar 9 headlining.

I took a few photos of the sound system being set up, I'll never forget them testing the sound, I mean it's loud usually in the night, but this was a different level, I have never felt and heard anything so loud as then. I felt as if it was going to push me over. It tickled my brain, haha. I love that.

I waited for my friends and boyfriend who were driving from near London to get there. When they did we went in. I finally met SKisM in person and we spoke about our photography plans in LA this year! Illaman was also there and was great to meet him. They killed it on stage, perfect set and they really work in harmony on stage.

Hype is such an amazing event for music and dubstep lovers. They've always got a perfect line-up for a night of insane talent and music. You are guarenteed an amazing time.

Hype are going to be hosting arena's at Festivals all summer bringing the biggest Dubstep lineups festivals in the UK have ever seen.

They also have plans to take Hype to lots more places around the country, so lookout! they could be coming to a city near you very soon!
